So far, about 25 million supermarket electronic labels have been put into practical use in the world, mainly distributed in Europe and the United States, Australia, Turkey in the Middle East, Japan and South Korea in Asia, etc., and the retailers introduced include metro, Migros, 7-Eleven, etc. The huge retail supermarket in China also has huge market potential.
In European supermarkets, the requirement for electronic labels is that batteries need not to be replaced for 3 to 5 years, while in China, the requirement is low, which is usually that batteries cannot be replaced within one year. The temperature range can be from - 20 ℃ to - 60 ℃, which is also in line with the environmental requirements of the supermarket. Ordinary liquid crystal can not work in such a large range. Its power consumption is also very low. In theory, a button battery can be used for 8 years. If the power consumption of other RF circuits is included, it can be used for almost 3 years.
